About me

I was born in the Huelva capital during the last decade of the 20th century. It was always clear to me that I wanted to study Physics, so I moved to Seville to study the Degree in Physics at the US (University of Seville). During my undergraduate studies I confirmed my passion for astrophysics and discovered my fascination for the study of radiation-matter interaction. My undergraduate studies ended at the end of the second decade of the 21st century, having developed my Final Degree Project in the field of photonics.

Later, I moved to Granada to study the Master in Physics at the UGR (University of Granada), specializing in astrophysics and doing my Master Thesis in the field of study of the characterization of exoplanetary atmospheres with high-resolution spectroscopy. This work fostered my interest in atmospheric sciences, which is why, at the beginning of the third decade of the 21st century, I studied the Master Degree in Geophysics and Meteorology at the UGR. In this master degree I developed my Master Thesis in the field of study of the optical and microphysical properties of individual particles of the atmospheric aerosol using spectroscopy techniques.

I am currently working at the GFAT (Atmospheric Physics Research Group) of the UGR, in the aerosol spectroscopy laboratory at IISTA using polar nephelometry to study the optical and microphysical properties of atmospheric aerosols. Simultaneously, I am doing doctoral studies within the PhD Program in Physics and Space Sciences.
