Inmaculada Alados Arboledas is licensed in Physical Sciences (1985) and PhD in Physical Sciences (1997) from the University of Granada. She obtained her Ph.D. with cum-laude per unanimity. The work carried out was on the study and modeling of photosynthetically active radiation.
She is currently University Professor in the Department of Applied Physics II of the University of Malaga (1997). She has been a profesor at Higher Polytechnic School and Higher Technical School of Cumputer Engeneering. During this time, she has participated in teaching innovation projects, and has directed TFG (Final Project Degree).
She began his research career in the field of solar radiation, later she has worked in the field of active and passive remote sensing and atmospheric aerosol. During this time she has participated in multiple research projects and experimental measurement campaigns. She has published articles in high-impact journals, and has also presented congress communications in the area, both national and international.
She currently belongs to the Atmospheric Physics Group (GFAT) of the University of Granada that develops his research at the IISTA-CEAMA. Her fundamental lines of research include: the study and modeling of solar radiation using, among other techniques, neural networks; characterization of the atmospheric aerosol by means of active and passive remote sensing techniques; radiative transfer models; study of cloud-aerosol interactions and their effects on radiative forcing.
