About me:

I was born in Viator, a village near to Almería. I studied a vocational training in technical draftsmanship, then I decided to start university studies at the University of Granada in the Degree in Physics, studying and working at the same time.

I did my first internship at the Instituto Interuniversitario de Investigación del Sistema Tierra en Andalucía (IISTA-CEAMA) in 2017 and discovered a branch of Physics unknown to me which I became really excited, Atmosphere Physics. Thereupon, I did my Final Degree Project in this same branch with Remote Sensing Techniques, specifically with Doppler lidar for the study of the Atmospheric Boundary Layer.

After graduating I did my Master's Degree in Meteorology and Geophysics. My Master's Degree Final Project followed the same research line of my TFG with Doppler lidar.

Since July 2022 I am working in the Research Atmospheric Physics Group (GFAT) at the University of Granada as a researcher, in the framework of the projects DEM3TRIOS (A-RNM-430-UGR20) and INTEGRATYON3 (PID2020-117825GB-C21). My research focuses on the study of the scattering capacity of the atmospheric boundary layer by turbulent processes using remote sensing techniques mostly with lidar Doppler techniques. At the same time, I am pursuing my PhD in the Physics and Space Sciences programme.
